Module 3: Individual donors
This module explains what fundraising is, and deals with the main elements of raising funds from individuals.
Why
Fundraising can be done among many types of donors, including individuals. To become a successful fundraiser, you need to understand the different types of individual donors and their motives for giving, select different techniques for approaching them, and organise your organisation effectively.

You will learn about the key characteristics of effective resource mobilisation; the importance of showing appreciation to donors and of acknowledging their contribution; different donor types and their motives for giving; and different fundraising techniques for approaching individual donors.
