“Together, we can reclaim the power and elevate practices of African philanthropy by providing leadership on the development of philanthropy agendas.”
End of 2021, APN had 33 member organisations, distributed all over (mainly anglophone) Africa.
Review by Wilde Ganzen
The website contains important reading about the APN cooperation with several African philanthropic organizations.
It also contains several interesting documents, to be found under ‘Resources’, about philanthropy in Africa. The studies on the ‘legal environment’ for civil society and philanthropy in Brazil, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, and Palestine, are quite unique.
