Step 11: Strategy
Most NGOs or grassroots organisations try to realize the dream of their target groups. This directly translates into the mission and vision of an organisation. The vision gives a picture of what the world will look like when the problem you are addressing is solved, while the mission explains how you will solve it. The vision and mission should be clear and simple and speak to everyone. Making a strategy for 3 to 5 years will help you set benchmarks
and having benchmarks will help you focus on doing what is most important to achieve your goals.
