Organisations trained on Mobilising Support in Burkina Faso

Since August, the Burkinabè Fundraising Association began a series of training courses in Mobilising Support to equip organisations in Burkina Faso with knowledge on how to get support, and engage the stakeholders in the realization of a project. Ten organisations previously trained in Local Resource Mobilisation registered for the training.
Before that a leaders meeting was held to enable the organisations to introduce aspects of the training to the leaders present and arouse the interest of members to participate fully. Through this, two groups were trained in Koupela and Ouagadougou.

Most associations nominated two participants for the training. These trainings were held in the form of a workshop with online courses on the Change the Game Academy website and practical examples used.

Participants learned about the fundamentals of Mobilising Support, understanding the situation and the obstacles, the context analysis and planning their Mobilising Support initiative.
